Our Team

Simon Chu is the President of  Cornerstone Financial Strategies Inc. He has been helping mature and senior investors for many years to take control of their futures with financial and estate planning. Simon specializes in assisting senior investors and retirees to help reduce their taxable income, lower investment risk, and planning for retirement income for many years. He holds the Certified Estate Planner and Registered Financial Consultant designations, and an Investment Advisor Representative with Cambridge Investment Research Inc., member FINRA/SIPC.

Simon hosts Risk Management, Retirement Investments, Insurance Planning, and Estate Planning seminars for seniors, retirees, and non-profit organizations in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Simon’s diverse, yet in-depth exposure to financial investment provides him with a great amount of experience and insight with investment planning, analysis, and financial decision making.

Simon resides in East Brunswick, New Jersey. He has 4 offices located in New Jersey .



 Alan Gottlieb has over thirty years of experience in  Wills, Trusts, Elder Law, and Family Law, including Divorce and Custody Matters. His experience also includes Debtors and Creditors rights, and Bankruptcy matters.

Born on June 18, 1945 in Jersey City, New Jersey, Alan earned his degree from the Penn State University Smeal College of Business Administration in 1967. Afterwards, he earned his law degree in 1971 from the Rutgers Law School in Newark, New Jersey.  He was employed by Price, Waterhouse (now Price, Waterhouse, Coopers) and Arthur Young & Company, (now Ernst & Young & Company), which helped round out this business acumen before entering the private practice of law in 1972.  

Alan is a member of the New Jersey, New York and the United States Supreme Court Bars.  He is also a member of the Middlesex County Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Trial Lawyers Association of Middlesex County.

Thomas McNulty is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and holds a Masters Degree in Taxation from Philadelphia University. 

He has been practicing Accounting and Taxation for the past 15 years providing tax preparation for Individuals, Businesses and Estates. His specialties include extensive estate and tax planning and representation before the IRS and State Authorities. His awareness of Tax Law provides his client base with all the necessary tools to minimize taxes and achieve personal wealth. He practices with the highest level of integrity and provides his clients with the ultimate respect.  He is unique in that he provides personal attention to all of his clients.

Tom is an active member of the American Institute of CPA’s (AICPA) and New Jersey Society of CPA’s (NJSCPA).
